Nuevo Progresso Bridge Tolls & Immigration

The international bridge at progresso is a combined US & Mexican entity and they charge a toll for use both for crossing into Mexico and returning to the US. Although the attendants will make change, it's a good idea to have the correct change to save time.
When you return, be prepared to show you drivers license to immigration and they will usually ask you what you are bringing back.
Each returning US Citizen can bring back up to 1 litre of alcohol but you must still pay Texas State taxes on it at the booth just beyond immigration check point.
